El Chorro is a canyon between the district of Guadalhorce and Guadalteba. It is located in between the natural reserve of Desfiladero de los Gaitanes. In 1989 it was declared a protected area by the Junta de Andalusia because of its high ecological value as well as its landscaped and historical variety.
El Torcal is a natural reserve situated near Antequera in the province of Málaga. With its exceptional karst landscapes it is one of the most impressing sceneries of Spain.
Tajo del Molino
Only 3 km away from Teba you find this canyon known by residents under the name Tajo de Torró.
The water, mainly from the river Venta, made its way through the canyon and is the main reason for a variety of karst formations. This leads to a multitude of caves and immersions. The most important cave here is the Cueva de las Palomas (Route Tajo de Molino).
